This is the narrative that Drudge is trying to create, especially on slow news weekends when there's nothing real to aggregate and post: The blacks are rising up and attacking the whites. It all came to a head, as John Cook noted, this Memorial Day weekend when Drudge posted 10 separate headlines -- including the massive, above-the-logo one -- related to violent incidents involving "urban" people at venues like "Black Bike Week" in Miami and "Rib Fest" in Rochester, N.Y. There was an "Urban Melee in Charlotte," for example. Do you know what makes an "urban melee" different from a regular "melee"? It's not that it takes place within the city limits of a major metropolitan area. It's that it involves the world's most obvious code term for "scary black people."Two interesting points come to mind (see Auster and Kersey again for additional analysis). First, one notes how the author of this article, Alex Pareene, (Google his pic, you won't be disappointed) expresses animosity towards Drugde for merely aggregating the stories, implicitly exonerating the people who engaged in such violent behavior. In averting his focus from the actual criminals, Pareene intends to avert the moral culpability from (black) ne'er-do-wells to white conservatives who merely understand the obvious.
this world of race riots and constant violent attacks on innocent Caucasians exists only in the imaginations of Matt Drudge and the paranoid suburban and exurban white people he wants to keep terrified. Stoking those racial fears goes beyond cynical political point-scoring. To devote so much energy to attempting to make whites terrified of blacks is just vile.
Second, and perhaps more importantly, Pareene depicts white-flighting conservatives like Drudge as not only paranoid and hate-filled, but also as motivators of public opinion. Here, one views the standard majority-minority power hierarchy: whites as unimpeachable arbiters of everything and minorities, especially blacks, as fluffy and harmless puppy dogs whimpering as their massa beats them and withholds food. A recent post at ThinkProgress by Matthew Yglesias comments on this supposed racial power hierachy:
It’s a small sample size, but new research appears to indicate that anti-anti-racism is now the default view of white Americans who see themselves as a persecuted, put-upon minority that happens to hold over 90 percent of political offices, corporate executive jobs, and other positions of power and prestige.The study itself is encouraging, but Yglesias' acerbic remark does, at first, seem somewhat convincing. How can whites consider themselves a culturally, politically, and socially imposed-upon cohort when they hold the majority of positions of power? Quite simply, the modern PC environment ensures those whites in power pursue initiatives at odds with the views of the white majority (new book shows rampant Hollywood liberalism) and that any apostasy from the PC doctrine, as above, is rigorously thwarted. Just because whites are in power doesn't mean they represent the desires of American whites as a collective nor does it mean, and it almost never does, that our culture and our politics seek to encourage conservatism.
But Mr. Pareene seizes upon this mendacious depiction of modern society. He completely subverts how things be goin' down on these streets. I mean, implicit to his argument, is that Matt Drudge's website somehow imbues whites with power instead of the packs of blacks like in these two videos. Yes, that's it, a conservative website is so much more impactful in real life than packs of roving blacks at Beat Whitey Night.

Drudge only reported the race riots; he didn't riot himself. Yet he's the one getting attacked in print for having the nerve to make it public but whatever the rioters do is hushed up, glossed over or rationalized away.
No, I really didn't see hundreds of black thug-like creatures swaggering around on Memorial Day in the evening. All those white people who got knocked off their bicycles, stomped, hit, robbed, punched, don't really exist. According to that writer all whites are just liars.
The city administration and the major newspapers tried to hush it all up by acting as if it never happened. They closed a major beach and claimed it was due to the "heat". You ever heard of that? I hope you get a sense of how deeply his tongue is planted in his cheek when he suggests that "sympathy is in order." But the truth is that, as I've written before, the game is changing a bit. Our movement towards "a more perfect union" when it comes to racial equality has now moved into a phase where "whiteness" is loosing its power as the default assumption about our culture. As Pitts says, we're (white people) going to be feeling our "loss of primacy." What we're seeing in this kind of research is the backlash to that reality. And we should be prepared to name it for what it is.
Well I won't be happy until blacks both make up at least 50% of the population and control at least 50% of the wealth. They are a huge part of building (stealing) this nation and deserve a bigger share.

The reference somebody made to a person being gay didn't have to do with Drudge. One of the articles he linked to was an open letter from Herb Sosa, the homosexual head of a Latino group in South Beach who decried the black violence and called for an end to Urban Weekend. That's probably who they were referring to in their comments.

Leaving aside those motivated by whimsy (a duct tape prom dress?), one of the reasons scholarships exist is to help those who, by dint of faith, gender, ethnicity or race, find themselves overmatched when competing against the mainstream. Mainstream being defined as white and male.
First problem: Pitts is claiming to know the motives of everyone who sets up a scholarship fund. However, the existence of a scholarship fund dedicated to helping whites is at least one data point against that proposition.

Pitts is an idiot: Mexicans hate Blacks. The best "deal" Black people could get is a stable arrangement of AA from a White population at around 80-898%, unthreatened, and with rising incomes. True, we can also add that the consent of the governed is the source for this power.
The law of the jungle is always in effect, and our civilized law is a veneer that consists of everyone's collectively subjective acknowledgement of its legitimacy. Why did Mayan priests demand human sacrifices? Because they had consent from the governed off the false pretext of "divine appointment" and thought it right despite objective evidence to the contrary (i.e., Brutally taking away the human life which you know exists for something that is most likely an arbitrary superstition).
