Of course, instead of unbiased journalism for basically an academic issue, we get hyperbole and multicultural rainbows. The article discusses the rise of multiracial children, though they have a rather curious way of doing so. Now, it goes without saying that liberals champion the "prevalence" of multiracial children as an omen of our coming diversity paradise. I'll highlight the important words below as evidence of the article's slant:
Among American children, the multiracial population has increased almost 50 percent, to 4.2 million, since 2000, making it the fastest growing youth group in the country. The number of people of all ages who identified themselves as both white and black soared by 134 percent since 2000 to 1.8 million people, according to census data released Thursday.Note that I said "more importantly" above, for two reasons. First, as stated, everyone knows who commits crime. To test this theory, get someone drunk and ask them what a "bad neighborhood" really means. Hint: not a trailer park. Second, this misleading characterization of a racial phenomenon inculcates the public with the notion that a diverse utopia is inevitable. In turn, this undermines the loyalty to a traditional national construction because people view a post-racial society as unavoidable given the purported (yet highly exaggerated) trends. But let's look at the actual numbers:

Now take out the large number of white Hispanics, a category the article notes as significant, and the number is even smaller. So how much is 3% of the population? More people (5% of the adult population) claim to have seen a monster in their closet. Now why isn't the NYT reporting on all these closet-dwelling monsters?
Of course, the article doesn't stop there - it adds a personal touch to show that, hey, this whole race melting really works; after all, I bet the author really likes that black guy who lives next door to her in Chelsea.

Of course, the mainstream won't present any of the issues honestly, instead preferring the misleading portrayal showcased above.
For Michelle Hosenbackez, who is white and Hispanic and is married to a black Cuban man, the data suggests a future for her 16-month-old daughter that may be much different from her own childhood. Mrs. Hosenbackez, 27, of Raeford, N.C., said, “With the mixed race population growing the way it is, she will be able to say, ‘Hey, that person is like me.’ I want her to be able to build confidence in that identity.”

Ive noticed that the advertising flyers for various Department Stores (Kohls is one) have bi-racial children depicted wearing their clothing in numbers that triumphantly exceed their actual percentage of the population. These kids are almost always black/white admixtures. I considered it "miscegneation-propaganda".
To get a group to do a thing, all you generally have to do is to give them the impression that "everybody is doing it". These ads are generally direced at women. What they are pushing, the interbreeding of one group in particular, couldn't be more obvious.

Anyone else notice that often the children just look odd? I remember seeing a black man and Japanese woman with their children at a Japanese grocery store and their children just looked strange. Could be me.

But, as a mixed race couple of 41 years, we are content with the life we've made together. Our children range from ages 25-40, all productive citizens. We expect that to be passed on to our 10 grandchildren.

I was in Sears the other day and I noticed all the men's pants mannequins had their pants pulled down. I felt an urge to fix them but I didnt want to look like a perv.
I rarely see people actually dressed that way, though, of any race.
To work in the media I'm convinced they have some unofficial ideological screening process by which only those with the right way of thinking make it in. With ad agencies I've been told they draw a younger, gayer, hipper crowd that thinks it's real cutting edge to showcase exotic specimens. Between the two you'd think half the US was non-white when you watch television. They seem to have a thing at present for portraying blacks as doctors, wonderfully competent folks who will heal us and impart wisdom to us mere white people. Anyway, I'd like to get some follow up on these half-breeds as to where they go as adults. Into what gene pool do they enter to procreate? Do mulattos stay on the black side, like Obama, or do they mate with whites? What's the percentage of each?

This sort of thing has been going on for a long, long time. Glorification of race-mixing is a central message in all forms of MSM, whether in newspapers, tv shows, commercials, or movies.
The standard analysis of the reasons for this situation remains essentially correct: Jews, who own these media, have recognized that they as a group tend to be more successful in societies with ethnically and religiously heterogeneous populations than in homogeneous ones (think: Almohad Spain, Ottoman Empire, Central Europe shortly after the great migrations, etc., but historically not Norway, Sweden, Britain) and thus seek to promote ideologies that will increase the level of heterogeneity in their host populations. For the most part, this strategy is successful, although it is obviously somewhat ridiculous and also offensive to anyone who has even rudimentary familiarity with the precepts of HBD.
There was a study a few years ago about how mixed race children had the most trouble in school and how they were more violent than blacks.
I can't find anything about this study in Google, making me think they're tweaking their search results. I've got to start saving links such as this.

Stevens said he was talking about Islamic law, not whether Rushdie should be killed by vigilanties. He also said he'd accept and abide by judgement from a British court for Rushdie's "crimes". And I'd quite prefer the "problems" of an equal number of white converts to Islam in Europe to those arising from Arab and African immigrants to Europe even if they renounced Islam and started worshipping Thor, Jesus or whomever. Wouldn't you?
The Quakers were the first people to advocate miscegenation as a duty of whites to improve the abilities of Africans--this was waaay back in the 1840's-1850's. Of course, the Quakers were also strident abolitionists who helped picked the fight that became known as the "Civil War". Well, that would open the door to a pretty big ethnic list. Arab/ Negro/ Pakistani/ Bengali etc. With Turks menacing Germany, north Africans (Berber and Arab, I suppose) as well as Senegalese menacing France, at least some Indonesians in the Netherlands, and a variety of subcontinentals in the UK, it seems more efficient to note what the groups have in common.
For the record, I don't believe that their conversion to Christianity (a la B.H. Obama) would have much benefit, but as you've mentioned for Eurowhites to convert to Islam is a serious problem.

Parents often live through their kids. For white folk who age as the normally do and hate it, by mixing with a melanated person you can produce kids who will age better than you and look longer than you did.

Whites who have children with blacks tend to be sketchy characters. I'd be surprised if they weren't below the white average in IQ and higher in psychopathy.
